Formula SAE has been and continues to be my greatest engineering experience to date. During the 2022 season I ascended from apprentice to subteam lead, and developed immensely as an engineer, teammate, and leader in the process. I'm honored to have served as the Battery Lead for the 2023 season of Texas A&M's Formula SAE Electric team. This was an unparalleled season of professional growth alongside truly dedicated and competent fellow engineers. The rigor and intensity of this vehicle bring-up made me the Engineer I am today. I have always had a natural aptitude for working with tech. Over my high school summers I put those abilities to use with an internship and then employment in information technology. Working with my various clients I further expanded my knowledge of enterprise and consumer hardware as well as server and domain management.

I owe much of my engineering competence to my history in competitive robotics. From leading a VEX Robotics team to helping my F.I.R.S.T. Robotics teammates get to the world championship, I have learned so much from creating robots.

After the 2022 Formula SAE Electric competition I had the pleasure of interning with the young and rapidly growing startup Volcon ePowersports. The startup culture is a completely different environment which allowed me to experience the full scope of EV engineering. While there I developed a battery lifecylce tester capable of autonomously simulating a real ride over and over again.

While it's not so much a career endeavor, I do enjoy the challenge and hands-on nature of construction and aim to one day build my own home. To prepare for this, I have dedicated the occasional weekend over the past several years designing and constructing my own tiny-house near caldwell, TX. I also have participated in Habitat-For-Humanity-style mission trips through the A&M Wesley Foundation.
